After the sun sets, most of the population uses artificial light to continue their daily lives, but they use different sources of light for inside and outside environments, which increases the use of resources and overall energy. For example, when a person needs to take their dogs out at night, they tend to keep their lights on at home, while carrying a flashlight outside. This uses a lot of resources and energy that could be reduced id there was a single aesthetically pleasing light source that can be used as a portable desk lamp and flashlight.
